James Guleke has over a decade worth of experience in the energy business, focused in both oil & gas and renewables. He spent 4.5 years procuring drilling rights on behalf of Burk Royalty Co. in East Texas and 3.5 plus years consolidating leasehold in the Permian Basin for Regions Permian, a Carnelian Energy Capital portfolio company. Between these jobs, he worked in renewables as a photovoltaic design engineer for SolarCity Corp, now Tesla Motors Inc., in Honolulu, Hawaii. He has an undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
